How to use your existing domain

Once you have purchased a domain name or you are using a domain you already own, you will be able to purchase one of our hosting packages.

You will need to change the Name Servers on your current domain, which is a simple process and takes no longer than a few minutes.

How to move your site to our server.

There are two simple steps involved in forwarding your existing domain name to your new web site:

When ordering your new hostng package you will need to enter your domain name. This will enable us to set up your new hosting package up in real time. Details of which will be forwarded as soon as the order process is complete. These details will enable you to login and set up your account ready for when your domain is ready for redirection.
Once you have received your login details you will also receive details of our Name Servers. You will need to login into domain control panel with the company you registered the domain with. Once you have logged in you will need to change the Name Severs on your domain account and change the DNS setting as follows:

First DNS name: NS1.123-hosting.CO.UK,
Second DNS name: NS2.123-hosting.CO.UK

Keep it short

Although some domain names can be up to 63 characters, you have to keep in mind that people need to be able to remember it, and easily type it into their browser.

Try to register the shortest name that your customers and visitors will associate with your Website. The general rule of thumb is, keep it under seven characters if possible. (Not including the suffix.)

Dot what?

There are many different domain extensions available right now. For businesses, we recommend a .com or .co.uk suffix.

Character Types

Just a reminder. Domain names can only use letters, numbers, and dashes (a-z, 0-9, -). Spaces and symbols are not allowed.

Also, domain names are not case sensitive. For example DOMAIN.COM is the same as domain.com

Register Your Domain NOW

You must register soon! Unless you want to get stuck with "the-domain-name-that-no-one-wanted.com". You do not have to have a Webmaster, an ecommerce department or even a Web design consultant ... you don't even need a Web page. Just get out there and register before you lose the opportunity to get the name you really want.
